The Green Goddess Story
In 2011, to celebrate Perfect Potion’s 20th anniversary, Sal wanted to create a blend that perfectly epitomised Perfect Potion. The scent needed to encompass not just our brand values, but those of our customers – the people who live and breathe these values every day. Where do you start to encapsulate the pure beautiful, compassionate, environmentally considerate nature of the Perfect Potion customer?
Looking for help to answer this question, Sal turned to the team. The result was 39 different suggestions for blends that represent the heart of Perfect Potion, each perfect in their own way. Instead of facing the impossible decision of choosing just one blend, Sal considered whether there was a way to bring them all together. The final formulation for the blend came to him in a dream and the Green Goddess blend was born: 22 different essential oils chosen by staff, plus a drop of pink lotus – a symbol of purity, perfection and the sacred, representing all that Perfect Potion is. The outcome was a magical aroma that continues to speak to the Perfect Potion community 15 years later.

The blend captivates the senses immediately with a resplendent floral heart of ylang ylang, rose, jasmine and pink lotus. A sparkling note of citrus from bergamot, mandarin and sweet orange offers a bright, sunshiny feel, while clove bud, cinnamon and ginger provide a gentle, warm spice. Lavender, lemon-scented iron bark, geranium, fragonia and Roman chamomile weave through sweet-herbaceous aromas, and a touch of earthy patchouli, vetiver, frankincense and Australian sandalwood lingers and grounds the blend.
