      Perfect Potion, a leading Australian manufacturer of certified natural and organic aromatherapy and skincare products, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Banyo, Brisbane.

      About the Role:

      In this full-time role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. You'll be responsible for ordering, and receiving all raw materials and bought-in items according to strict quality standards (ISO 22716 and other certifications).

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Source and order the best raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
      • Maintain the starting material warehouse, keeping everything organized and readily available for production.
      • Take full ownership of receiving raw materials, verifying quantities and prices with a keen eye for detail.
      • Sample and test raw materials according to standard operating procedures.
      • Maintain accurate records and filing systems for efficient inventory management.

       

      • Liaise with suppliers and ensure proper documentation for deliveries.

       

      • Support Operations Manager with production operations

       

      Skills and Experience

       

      • Current Forklift licence
      • Proven experience in a similar role.
      • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in inventory/production management systems.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
      • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
      • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality control.
      • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently but have initiative to seek advice and engage with others
      • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for contributing to a successful team.
