Despatch Warehouse Manager

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Despatch Warehouse Manager to lead our busy despatch team. This is not a desk-bound role; you will work side-by-side with your team on the floor to ensure that everything from small web orders to large international shipments are processed, packed, and dispatched seamlessly.
As a key leader, you will also play a pivotal role in driving our upcoming transition to mobile picking in the new year, helping to streamline and modernise our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-On Floor Leadership: Lead, mentor, and work alongside the despatch team to ensure daily dispatch targets, turnaround times, and order accuracy are consistently met.
- Multi-Channel Fulfillment: Oversee outbound logistics for e-commerce, wholesale accounts, and complex international export orders.
- Inbound Finished Goods & Stock Control: Oversee the daily receipt of finished goods from manufacturing, ensuring items are put away in their correct locations accurately and promptly.
- Stock Audits & Inventory Management: Take full responsibility for organising and completing periodic and full stock takes to maintain exceptional inventory accuracy.
- Warehouse Standards & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that supports smooth workflows and team safety.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to domestic and international shipping regulations relating to dangerous goods.
- Process & Technology Driver: Utilise MYOB Acumatica for inventory and order tracking, and spearhead the implementation of mobile picking workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on documentation, standard operating procedures, and training to support team growth and operational efficiency.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in warehouse leadership, despatch, stock control, and logistics operations (hands-on experience is essential).
- Demonstrated experience managing daily stock receipt, put-away processes, and routine stocktakes.
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping compliance, particularly regarding dangerous goods handling. – Dangerous Goods training for Air and Sea freigh is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with enterprise resource planning and inventory management systems—MYOB Acumatica experience is a strong advantage.
- A proactive, "lead by example" attitude with a hands-on approach to daily warehouse tasks and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and enthusiasm for driving technological improvements (such as mobile picking implementations).
- Strong communication and organiational skills to manage diverse order streams from local web orders to global exports.

Seeking an Experienced QC Formulator
Join our Quality Assurance team in this dynamic dual role, where you will perform quality control testing on raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods while playing a key hands-on role in product reformulation and new product development. Operating under ISO 22716 (GMP) standards, you will collaborate closely with our Operations Manager and QC Specialist to bring natural formulations to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct QC testing on incoming raw materials, packaging, bulk product, and finished goods.
- Record quality data and document non-conformances.
- Prepare lab samples, formulate new products, and conduct stability testing.
- Calculate cost of goods (COGs) for new products.
- Validate and calibrate lab equipment.
- Coordinate microbiological testing and preservative efficacy testing with external labs.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical data for existing and prospective starting materials.

Working alongside our QC Formulator and reporting to the Operation Manager, you will ensure our finished products meet strict quality and regulatory benchmarks.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine QC testing on starting materials, bulk product, and finished goods.
- Create technical documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CofA) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Manage external audit processes and conduct regular internal GMP audits.
- Review and approve product label artwork against local laws and certifying standards.
- Investigate non-conformances, root causes, and customer returns/complaints.
- Coordinate compliance documentation with raw material suppliers and certifying bodies.
