To ensure our customers with coeliac disease, wheat and/or gluten intolerances can carefully choose their Perfect Potion products, we have compiled a list of products which contain wheat or wheat derived ingredients, or gluten.

These ingredients are certified COSMOS approved:

1. Wheatgerm Oil
   Purpose:  a very nutritious oil that has a high vitamin E content making it an excellent natural antioxidant. It may also promote the formation of skin cells, improve blood circulation and be useful for dermatitis. Used in: New Bloom Pregnancy Body Cream, New Bloom Pregnancy Body Oil, Replenish Night Balm, Skin Elixir.
2. Essential Oil Solubiliser – contains:
   a)  Caprylyl/Capryl Wheat Bran/Straw Glycosides
   Purpose: a natural, PEG-free surfactant in our essential oil solubiliser.b)  Fusel Wheat Bran/Straw Glycosides
   Purpose:  a natural, PEG-free solubility enhancer in our essential oil solubiliser.Used in: Essential Oil Solubiliser, Aromatic Mists, Chakra Balancing Mist.
3. Sorbitan oleate
   Purpose:  Sorbitan oleate is used as a water-in-oil emulsifier in our Tinted Moisturisers. It is also used as a wetting agent and dispersant for zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in sun care products.
   Used in: Tinted Moisturisers
   
4. Polyglyceryl-3-polyricinoleate
   Purpose: Polyglyceryl-3-polyricinoleate is a vegetable based emulsifier in our Tinted Moisturisers.
   Used in: Tinted Moisturisers
5. Hydrolysed Wheat Protein
   Purpose: greatly increases the hair’s ability to retain moisture, repairs the hair, adds volume and improves smoothness.
   Used in: Rosemary Conditioner
6. Sclerotium Gum
   Purpose: this gelling agent used in our Replenish Antioxidant Serum is derived from wheat.
   Used in: Replenish Antioxidant Serum
