5 Step Breathe Easy Ritual
Creating a clean, healthy environment is key when it comes to staying well in Winter. We share 5 steps to Winter wellness by harnessing the powerful benefits of aromatherapy.
Step 1: Purify the air
With all that coughing and sneezing around it’s a great idea to naturally purify the air in your home. Spritz Breathing Space Room Spray around your car, home or office to create a clean environment and instil an atmosphere of total serenity. The combination of fir, eucalyptus, lemon and lavender pure essential oils will help cleanse your surroundings and purify the air. As a bonus, it will also replace stale odours with a fresh, natural scent!
Towels and bed linen can also be spritzed with Breathing Space Room Spray as a natural linen freshener. Spray it over your mattresses, pillow cases and sheets, and if you’re lucky enough to experience some sunshine, pop them outside to air dry.
Step 2: Diffuse and inhale
Breathe Easy blend is bursting with pine essential oil which is said to possess antimicrobial, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Tea tree oil acts an immunostimulant that may help your body’s ability to respond to infection! Eucalyptus is also included to assist in clearing up congestion.
Handy hint: Add a few drops of Breathe Easy Essential Oil blend and ½ a cup of bicarbonate soda into your wash to boost germ-busting and gently fragrance clothes and sheets.
How do you use Breathe Easy blend?
We suggest adding 3-4 drops to a handkerchief and holding under your nose. Take some nice, deep breaths and really inhale the vapours. Enjoy the benefits of direct inhalation and allow the magic to happen!
For a stronger version of this, and to help clear sinuses, fill a bowl with steaming water and add 5-10 drops of Breathe Easy blend. Pop a towel over your head and breathe deeply, remembering to keep your eyes closed. For purification and perfect ambiance in your home or workplace, add a few drops of Breathe Easy to your diffuser or humidifier (each one has different instructions so be sure to check yours). This will help purify and naturally freshen and fragrance the air. Aching body? Why not make a massage blend by using a 2.5% dilution of Breathe Easy in the carrier oil of your choice (Tip: cold-pressed sweet almond or apricot kernel oil work a treat!). To create a 2.5% dilution simply use five drops in every 10ml of carrier oil.
Step 3: Massage and relax
Breathe Easy Aromatherapy Balm into your chest, throat and back. You can also pop a dab under your nostrils and take some long, deep breaths for a clearing and cleansing effect.

Step 4: Sip and unwind
