Listen to Nature Collection
Have you noticed the moon lately? When was the last time you lay on the grass and watched the clouds float by?
"Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time." - John Lubbock, The Use of Life.
It takes time to slow down and untangle our busy mind from our hectic daily schedules and just stop and listen to nature. I am sure you have noticed that you feel better after spending some in nature. Researchers have actually found that as little as 20 minutes exposure in nature can have profound therapeutic effects.
Salvatore Battaglia's inspiration to create the listen to nature range has come from two beautiful terms Shinrin-yoku and dadirri. The Japanese word Shinrin-yoku, which literally means ‘forest bathing’ or ‘taking in the forest’. Bathing in the forest refers to taking in the forest through all our senses. Dadirri, is an Australian Aboriginal term, which means deep listening and quiet still awareness. It refers to ‘tuning in’ and connecting with nature in a spiritual and meaningful way. Dadirri is from Ngan’gikurunggurr and Ngen’giwumirri languages of the Aboriginal people of the Daly river region, 220 km south of Darwin, NT.
Both these terms understand the unique biophilia that exists between nature and ourselves.
Essential oils can also have a profound effect on our psyche and play a very important biological, emotional and spiritual role in reconnecting us with nature. They can touch our heart and make us more keenly aware of the beauty around us.
Allow these five beautiful essential oil blends to awaken your awareness and connection to nature.
