Sal's Notes
My Listen To Nature Collection is inspired by biophilia - a deep love and spiritual connection to nature - and my childhood memories spent playing in nature.
As a child, I grew up with a tin roof. This is why Listen To The Rain has such a magical childhood connection. The key essential oil is vetiver, because as a child, when we would have the first summer rain, the rain would hit dry ground and release the scent of the earth, clays and soil. Listen To The Rain helps us feel grounded and connected with nature, and really promotes a state of mindfulness.
FIVE ELEMENTS (TCM)
For those of you who follow my work and know my passion for the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), each of the five blends in my Listen to Nature collection corresponds with one of the five elements. Tranquil and contemplative Listen to the Rain relates to the peaceful element of Earth.
