Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation
Aroma Profile: A pale yellowish green to almost clear mobile liquid with a warm aromatic odour.
Uses: The fresh scent is purifying and cleansing. Tea tree oil is often referred to as “Nature’s first aid remedy”. Use as an inhalation for the temporary relief of colds and flu.
Subtle: Ideal for individuals who feel doom that often accompanies chronic ill-health.
Chakra: base, third eye chakra
Skin care: Tea tree oil will assist and promote the healing of minor cuts and soothes insect bites.

Cautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising.

Add 5-7 drops to your Perfect Potion diffuser, or add 5 drops to every 10ml of pure vegetable oil to use as a massage oil.

The typical chemical composition of tea tree oil is α-pinene (2.1%), b-pinene (0.4%), sabinene (0.2%), myrcene (0.4%), α-phellandrene (0.8%), α-terpinene (7.1%), limonene (1.4%), 1,8-cineole (3.0%), γ-terpinene (15.7%), p-cymene (6.2%), terpinolene (3.4%), linalool (0.2%), terpinen-4-ol (45.4%), α-terpineol (5.3%).

    Tea tree oil

    I have been using the oil in hot water to soak my feet. It is a little soon to gauge its effect at the moment but I have every confidence that it will help with keeping my toe nails healthy.

    A favourite oil in our home

    Tea Tree essential oil is a favourite in our home and is loved by my family of three. As my 8 year old daughter says, it makes her feel "clean and refreshed" and she often puts a few drops in her bath.
