Behind the Blend

Relax is one of the first blends I ever created. More than 30 years ago, before creating Perfect Potion, I started my first business The Garden Party at the North Pine Country Markets. Relax was one of the original blends. Originally, Relax blend included rosewood. However, the oil from rosewood is obtained from timber growing in the wild in the Amazon. Perfect Potion was one of the first companies to boycott the use of rosewood. We recreated Relax keeping the heart and soul of the blend, and it's even better than the original - remaining one of our most popular blends to date and the key aroma of our bestselling Relax range.

    Relax - the classic!

    I gave this as a gift along with a banksia pot diffuser as it is the sort of thing you might not buy yourself. Relax is an old school Perfect Potion classic blend and is one of my "go to" blends for gifts. It's always well received. Staff are always delightful and it's a great shopping experience.

    Essentially so relaxing

    Love it! Perfect blend of oils. Wish the other products in this ‘Calm’ range smelled the same as this blending. (Only issue is the lid - eventually the rim of the glass has a black substance from the contact between lid and the oils). But this is minor - the blend is lovely. I use this almost like a perfume and as a calming balm during yoga.
