Aroma Profile: A colourless to pale yellow liquid with a very sweet, but slightly earthy or peppery-spicy aroma.
Uses: Sweet fennel is traditionally used to support digestion.
Subtle: The sweet, spicy scent of sweet fennel seed oil is invigorating and motivating. It promotes clarity, courage and confidence.
Chakra: Solar plexus
Skin care: Not commonly used in skincare.

Cautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant and non- sensitising. It is contra-indicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding, endometriosis and oestrogen-dependent cancers.

The typical chemical composition of sweet fennel oil is a-pinene (1.8-3.3%), myrcene (0.5-0.8%), fenchone (19.0-21.6%), trans-anethole  (64.0-69.2%), methyl chavicol (3.9-6.5%), limonene & 1,8-cineole (1.2-1.7%), anisic aldehyde (0.1-0.3%).

Add 5-7 drops to your Perfect Potion diffuser, or add 5 drops to every 10ml of pure vegetable oil to use as a massage oil.
