Botanical name: Eucalyptus citriodora
Country of Origin: Brazil
Method of Extraction: Steam distillation
Aroma Profile: A colourless to pale yellow, mobile liquid that has a strong and very fresh, rosy-citronella-like aroma and a sweet, balsamic-floral dry out.
Uses: The aroma is fresh, alive and full of vitality. It makes an excellent air purifier when used in an aromatherapy diffuser. It will help revive your spirits. Traditionally used to alleviate symptoms of colds and flu.
Subtle: The aroma of lemon-scented eucalyptus is fresh, alive and full of vitality. It creates a sense of freedom and excitement.

Skin care: Not commonly used in skincare.

Cautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. However essential oils high in aldehydes may cause sensitisation reactions if used undiluted.

    Great insect repellant used with moisturiser

    I mix a few drops of Eucalyptus Lemon Oil into my body cream when working in the bush (gardening or bush regeneration).This It is a great natural alternative to chemical sprays and a little goes a long way. This is my primary insect (& tick repellant) but I also use a spray on my hat & boots.

    My new favourite

    This is my favourite citrus-ish high note scent. It offers the clarity without smelling like a cleaning product! Which let's face it, some lemony scents do.. I am about to move overseas for a while, and this oil will come with me, to give me a little piece of home when I need it. There's just nothing quite like lemon gums and lemony Australian oils.
