CO2 Extracts

CO2 extracts are not technically essential oils but offer an aroma profile that is almost identical to the raw material from which they are extracted. The CO2 extraction process uses hypercritical carbon dioxide as a solvent to extract volatile compounds from the plant material.

At room temperature and average air pressure, at a high enough pressure, CO2 becomes “supercritical,” which means that it exists in a physical state that is neither gas nor liquid, but displays properties of both. In its supercritical state, CO2 becomes like a liquid that then acts as a solvent that extracts oil from plant material.     My little secret oils

    This trio of oils is absolutely divine! I have bought it for the 2nd time now as I love it so much! Each of these oils smell amazing and fills my house of a delicious aroma, especially in the morning. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves having a warm welcoming smelling house starting from the early mornings as you get ready and have a nice cup of coffee or tea or chai :).
