Botanical name: Chamaecyparis obtuse
Country of Origin: Japan
Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation
Aroma Profile: A dry, delicate, woody note with a light terpene-like nuance and a warm, sweet, somewhat spicy undertone.
Uses: Hinoki wood is soothing, harmonising, grounding and strengthening. May be used to alleviate stress, anxiety and nervous tension.
Subtle: The delicate woody scent of hinoki wood oil suggests it is beneficial to promote a calming and relaxing ambiance that is inducive to spiritual awareness.
Chakra: Base, solar plexus and crown chakra.
Skin care: Not commonly used in skincare.
Cautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant and non- sensitising. There are no contraindications.

    Peaceful Forest Scent

    Really nice fresh woody scent. Dry and crisp without being overpowering. Reminds me of walking through a cool, shaded forest with light coming through the trees. Very peaceful and grounding.

    A Japanese Essential Oil Favourite

    From the ancient trees in Japan comes the Hinoki Essential Oil …. It feels as though there’s some wisdom from those trees of old , grounding , strong and serene. A little magic from the forest of Japan to bath your senses whenever you want , without even being in the forest 🌳 Yet ready to Forest Bathe whenever I can too, amidst the real trees. A most beautiful oil ,for maintaining your health too . Thank you.
