Our beautiful Precious rose hand cream, Calendula hand cream and Nourish hand cream have been reformulated to be palm free and are now available in beautiful convenient to use biodegradable tubes.
What is the new formula?
Our new hand creams are palm free and vegan, and are nourishing and hydrating as ever. We modified the original hand cream recipes without compromising on hydration, or how divine they smell.
The blend of essential oils in our hand cream is the same, as are the nourishing moisturising butters and carrier oils used. The main difference is the emulsifier used. Before the ingredient was Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate, and now the ingredient is Palm Free Brassica Alcohol.
Why palm free?
As sustainable development is an integral part of our business strategy, we actively support the use of certified sustainable sources from members of the RSPO for palm and palm kernel oil where these ingredients are required in our products.
However, when sourcing new raw materials, we continuously monitor the market and ingredient suppliers for palm-oil free alternatives to the ingredients we use.
What is the new packaging?
The tubes are LDPE and contain an oxo-biodegradation enzyme. We made the decision to return to tubes for a few reasons. They are convenient to use, reduce risk of contamination, and our new tubes are made from biodegradable plastic.
Our new packaging supplier use a biodegradable enzyme in their packaging, this active is an Oxo-biodegradable Plastic technology called d2w. It is designed to activate when the product is disposed of and ends up in land-fill or a watercourse, it turns the plastic into a substrate for bacteria that is eventually consumed. D2w is an oxo-biodegradable plastic technology, which differs from oxo-degradable plastic which will leave micro plastics. The plastic is eaten by bacteria and does not leave any microplastics behind.

Our star ingredients for Calendula Hand Cream are:
- Lavender essential oil – Lavender essential oil is well known for its soothing, healing, and anti-inflammatory properties and is beneficial for sensitive skin, dermatitis, wound healing and scarring.
- Aloe Vera - Aloe verais a common household plant known for its skin healing properties. Aloe vera is a great natural moisturizer and can help to soothe dry skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
- Sweet Almond Oil – Sweet almond oil contains many nutrients that are good for the skin, including vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Some people use almond oil to reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles and to treat skin conditions.
- Cocoa butter - Cocoa butter is rich in oleic, palmitic, and stearic fatty acids to deeply moisturise skin and improve skin elasticity. It is also rich in antioxidants and said to help protect skin against signs of aging and damage including dullness, dark patches and spots, and stretch marks. Cocoa butter is also said to be soothing for skin irritations.
- Calendula extract - This beautiful, healing oil infused from calendula flowers has anti-inflammatory properties and is beneficial for sensitive skin, dermatitis, wound healing and scarring.
- Sunflower oil – Linoleic acid helps to maintain the skins natural barrier, supporting its ability to retain moisture. The vitamin E in sunflower oil has antioxidants that help with premature aging.

Nourish hand creamFor dry, sensitive skin. Soften and moisturise your hands with this rich, protective hand cream. Made with certified organic olive oil, shea butter, avocado and rosehip oils. This intensively hydrating cream has the refreshing and uplifting scents of sage, sweet orange, frankincense and petitgrain pure essential oils. |
The star ingredients for Nourish Hand Cream are:
- Frankincense – Frankincense essential oil is rejuvenating and improves the tone of mature and damaged skin.

- Olive oil – Olive oil has been adored for generations as a replenishing and protective skin oil. It smooths and softens the skin and is especially beneficial in moisturisers for dry and scaly skin.
- Cocoa butter – Cocoa butter is rich in oleic, palmitic, and stearic fatty acids to deeply moisturise skin and improve skin elasticity.
