Australian Bushfire Support

Our thoughts are very much with all Australians who are currently affected by the devastating bushfires. The entire team at Perfect Potion is saddened by the devastation caused by the fires occurring across Australia. We extend our sincere gratitude to all personnel involved in fighting the fires and everyone involved in helping those communities affected by the fire.

With over 6.3 million hectares of bush, forest and parks burned, 24 deaths, an estimate of over half a billion animals killed, more than 1,300 houses destroyed in NSW alone, the devastation of the Australian bushfires, which have been burning since September 2019 has impacted all of us1. Many of us feel helpless in assisting communities who have been affected the most. We encourage you to help official organisations and charities directly. Below are a few organisations you can donate to directly to help the communities, firefighters, volunteers and animals that have been devastated by the recent bushfires.

I also wish to extend my sincere appreciation for the generosity and kind-heartedness expressed by people all around the world who have pledged to support the firefighters and communities that have been affected by the fires. If you would like to help those in need, I urge you to do so through one of the registered charities or government organisations below. I am also grateful to those who have spoken up and voiced their concern about the inaction of our government in response to climate change. I totally concur with former Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, who recently stated that it is time for Australia to show global leadership on climate change by putting forward a coherent energy policy in response to the nation’s bushfires.

Take care and stay safe.

Sal & the Perfect Potion team
