The last thing you think of when your loved one dies is what to do with the body.We live in a unit so I had a vision of sneaking into New Farm Park in the middle of the night and finding his favourite spot to bury him. However I knew that would not be a good idea.
The vet at the Queensland University Veterinary clinic recommended Pets Eternal Peace – they do pet cremations. The vet told me how much it would cost, I agreed and she said that she would call them as we were rather traumatised at that moment. I received a call the following day from Steve at Pets Eternal Peace. He was most sympathetic and understood the pain we were feeling. They took care of everything - two days later they personally delivered a beautiful little urn with an engraved plaque and a rose.
Words cannot explain how much we appreciated the service that they provided – it was exceptional – it seemed like such a beautiful and dignified way for Chopper to be treated.
If you live in brisbane and ever need them – they can be contacted on 07 3297 5565 or 0408 071 197 – ask for Steve or Angie.
