As part of Perfect Potion’s environmental strategy, we recently implemented a campaign to encourage our customers to receive their monthly company communication via email, rather than by post. To encourage our customers to convert from paper based to email communication we promised a $1 donation per conversion to go to the Wilderness Society. We are very pleased to say that 3,500 customers have welcomed this opportunity to help the environment and we have since donated the amount of $3,500 to the Wilderness Society Australia.
When developing new products Perfect Potion prefer to use ingredients that benefit local communities or the environment. As an indication of our commitment to the majestic rivers of Australia, we have chosen to help reduce Australia’s soil salinity by using salt from the Murray-Darling River Basin in one of our most popular products, the zest body polish.
Furthermore, Perfect Potion proudly supports the Fair Trade for a Fair Go agreement by sourcing our virgin organic coconut oil from the indigenous communities in the South Pacific Islands.
Further to Perfect Potion’s highly recognized and regarded training and education programs, Perfect Potion also run events like Food For Thought. The purpose of this particular event was to bring together speakers from business and community to contribute their knowledge and practical experiences on sustainable living practices. The topics addressed included, how to turn a myriad of post-consumer waste into practical, useable items. The introduction of environmental homes and how this is possible and how to choose goods that you consume that help sustain indigenous communities culture and way of life. All monies raised from the cost to attend this event were donated to Oxfam Community Aid Abroad.
Perfect Potion support the Australian Koala Foundation by selling their wildlife in pencil greeting gift cards. All proceeds made as a result of the sales of these stunning Koala pencil sketched gift cards are donated to the Australian Koala Foundation.
Over the years Perfect Potion has proudly supported Amnesty International by donating regular goods and services to various causes the AI are supporting.
