Wild Lime and Vetiver Shaving Foam

Ingredients

aqua

Purified water is an essential component for healthy looking skin and hair, as it cleans and moisturises. It is also necessary to dissolve water-soluble ingredients in a product and therefore forms the base of most of Perfect Potion's products.

bergamot

citrus bergamia

The refreshing, sweet citrus scent of bergamot is uplifting and refreshing. It helps people regain self confidence and uplifts the spirit.

citric acid

Citric acid naturally occurs in the human body and also in plants, especially citrus fruits. Regulates pH levels and helps preserve products.

cocoglucoside

Cocoglucoside is a gentle, sulfate free surfactant that produces a mild foam whilst cleansing the skin and hair.

disodium cocoyl glutamate

A mildly foaming, sulfate free co-surfactant.

lime

citrus aurantifolia

The fresh citrusy scent of lime is purifying and enlivens your senses. It encourages awareness, clarity of thought and are emotionally invigorating. Cold pressed lime oil should not be used topically in the presence of UV light ie. sunbaking, sunbeds - may cause photosensitivity.

limonene

In Perfect Potion products, limonene is a naturally occuring component found in pure essential oils, particularly citrus types.

linalool

In Perfect Potion products, linalool is a naturally occurring constituent found in pure essential oil of Lavender.

patchouli

Patchouli is a dark orange to brownish oil with a rich, earthy, sweet-herbaceous, aromatic-spicy and woody balsamic scent.  The rich earthy scent of patchouli is grounding, soothing, and especially valuable for ‘dreamers' and people who tend to neglect or feel detached from their physical body. Patchouli may be used for dry, cracked or chapped skin.

The warm spicy scent of black pepper is invigorating and strengthening. It promotes confidence and focus.

potassium sorbate

Potassium sorbate is used widely in the food and cosmetics industries as a preservative. Potassium sorbate is an approved BDIH Certified ingredient.

rosemary

The fresh herbaceous scent of rosemary oil is strengthening and invigorating. It may be used to promote mental clarity. It is valuable for the maintenance of healthy hair and scalp.

sodium alginate

A natural thickening and gelling agent derived from seaweed.

sodium benzoate

In the food and cosmetics industries, sodium benzoate is used as a preservative, effectively killing most yeasts, bacteria and fungi. Sodium benzoate is an approved BDIH Certified ingredient.

vetiver

vetiveria zizanoides

The heavy woody-earthy scent of vetiver is grounding and balancing. It is referred to as the 'oil of tranquility'. It connects us to the earth's energies. It may be used for oily and devitalised skin.
