How to use

Gently massage Sandalwood and Palmarosa Moisture Cream into your skin using upward movements, then press into the skin. For best results, apply after hydrating your skin with a Perfect Potion Fine Tuning Solution for your skin type, and while your skin still feels slightly damp.

Ingredients

apricot kernel oil

prunus armeniaca

Apricot kernel oil has a light texture which makes it suitable for use as a face or body oil. It softens, smoothes and protects the skin and helps prevent moisture loss.

benzoic acid

Benzoic acid hinders the growth of fungus, moulds and some bacteria. Benzoic acid is an approved BDIH Certified ingredient.

benzyl alcohol

In Perfect Potion products, benzyl alcohol is a naturally occurring constituent found in pure essential oils of jasmine, ylang ylang and rose oils. Benzyl alcohol has preservative and solvent actions.

cetearyl alcohol

Cetearyl alcohol emulsifies and thickens products, and it has an emollient action.

cetearyl olivate

Derived from olive oil, cetearyl olivate is an emulsifier that is often blended with sorbitan olivate. Together, these emulsifiers help mix oil- and water-based ingredients and help to give a product a luxurious, smooth feel. It also imparts moisturising properties to the skin.

lavender

The fresh floral scent of lavender is harmonising and calming. It promotes compassion and healing. It is used to soothe all skin types.

palmarosa

cymbopogon martinii

The fresh floral scent of palmarosa is soothing and harmonising and aids healing. Palmarosa is used for moisturising and hydrating lack lustre and mature skin.

patchouli

Patchouli is a dark orange to brownish oil with a rich, earthy, sweet-herbaceous, aromatic-spicy and woody balsamic scent.  The rich earthy scent of patchouli is grounding, soothing, and especially valuable for ‘dreamers' and people who tend to neglect or feel detached from their physical body. Patchouli may be used for dry, cracked or chapped skin.

santalum spicatum

Australian sandalwood is a pale yellow viscous oil with an soft, sweet-woody, balsamic odour with a dry slightly resinous top note. The woody scent of sandalwood is serene and instils inner calm. It may be used for meditation. Australian Sandalwood may be used for the relief of acne, sensitive and dry skin.

sorbic acid

Sorbic acid is widely used in the food and cosmetic industries as a preservative. Sorbic acid is an approved BDIH Certified ingredient.

sorbitan olivate

Sorbitan olivate is an emulsifier that is often blended with cetearyl olivate. Together, these emulsifiers help mix oil- and water-based ingredients and help to give a product a luxurious, smooth feel. It also imparts moisturising properties to the skin.

stearic acid

Stearic acid is used to emulsify the ingredients and give the product a smooth finish. It also helps to soften the skin and hair and give structure to creams, lotions and masks.

sweet almond oil

prunus amygdalus dulcis

A light, easily absorbed oil which makes an excellent base for a massage oil. It can also be used to nourish and soften the skin.
